Royal Society ACME & JMC Survey with teachers on the impact of COVID-19 on mathematics education
The Royal Society ACME and JMC made a submission to the House of Commons Education Committee on the impact of COVID-19 on mathematics education. This followd a survey of nearly 500 teachers of mathematics between 2 November and 23 November 2020. The teachers answered 12 select-response questions and 5 open-ended questions about their experiences of teaching mathematics, and of their students’ learning, since the pandemic began.
