JMC representatives among the inaugural fellows of the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences

JMC is delighted to announce that six current representatives from JMC are among the first 100 Fellows of the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences.  Congratulations to Professor Alf Coles (JMC trustee & BSRLM), Professor Paul Glaister CBE (IMA), Sue Madgwick (NCETM), Professor Mary McAlinden (LMS and HoDoMS), Professor Andy Noyes (Past Chair) and Dr Ruth Trundley (JMC trustee and member of AMiE).  This Fellowship recognises their contribution to mathematics and in particular mathematics education.  Other previous JMC chairs include Professor Margaret Brown and Professor Celia Hoyles.
