This report, commissioned and funded by the JMC, seeks to provide an overview of the landscape regarding Initial Teacher Education for secondary mathematics teachers across the four nations of the UK.  The report surveys the current ITT landscape, identifies historic trends and examines some of the reasons why people might be deciding to go into or leave the teaching profession.
